Obverse description The obverse is printed in dark brown on a cream ground with a fine wave-pattern guilloche underprint. The denomination numeral '50' appears in the upper-left corner within a decorative frame, alongside the title inscription 'Gutschein der Marktgemeinde Aschbach' and the large Gothic-script legend 'Fünfzig Heller'. Two local architectural vignettes flank the central text — a church with a steeple at lower left and a domed ecclesiastical building at upper right — while the municipal coat of arms is placed at the lower right. The lower portion carries manuscript facsimile signatures of the Bürgermeister, Vizebürgermeister, and a Gemeinderat member, with a validity clause reading 'Gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920'.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in dark brown on a cream ground with a fine geometric guilloche border and ornamental corner pieces. The denomination '50' appears in both upper corners alongside the Gothic-script heading 'Fünfzig Heller'. The central field is occupied entirely by a multi-line German-language text in Gothic script setting out the authority for issue by resolution of the Marktgemeinde Aschbach council dated 8 April 1920, the non-interest-bearing nature of the notes, their redemption guarantee in legal tender by 31 December 1920, and a warning against counterfeiting. The printer's imprint 'Druck von F. Kielar, Amstetten' appears at the foot.
Reverse lettering Fünfzig Heller
