The heading 'Gutschein der Stadtgemeinde Ried über' appears at the top, below which the denomination '50 Heller 50 (fünfzig)' is set in large type flanking a small green overprinted municipal coat of arms. The lower portion carries a continuous block of text citing the municipal council resolution of 11 January 1920 authorising the issue and specifying the redemption period at the civic treasury from 1 to 31 August 1920. |

Jänner 1920 Gutscheine bis zu einem Gesamtbetrage von fünfzigtausend Kronen aus. Diese Gutscheine werden in der Zeit vom 1. Aug. bis einschl. 31. Aug. 1920 bei der städtischen Kasse in gesetzlichem Bargeld eingelöst. (Translation: Voucher of the Municipality of Ried for 50 Heller (fifty). To alleviate the prevailing shortage of coin, the Municipality of Ried, pursuant to the municipal council resolution of 11 January 1920, issues vouchers to a total value of fifty thousand Kronen. These vouchers will be redeemed in legal tender at the municipal treasury from 1 August to 31 August 1920 inclusive.) |
