In the upper left, a smaller photographic vignette of Taeuber-Arp is set against a mosaic of multicoloured geometric squares, consistent with her abstract artistic style, with the dates '1889–1943' printed vertically alongside. The denomination numeral '50' appears in large bold letterpress at the left, with the issuer inscriptions 'SCHWEIZERISCHE NATIONALBANK' and 'BANCA NAZIUNALA SVIZRA' running vertically on the right margin, and the denomination text 'Fünfzig Franken / Tschuncanta Francs' printed to the right. |
