| Description de l’avers | Printed in blue on beige paper by lithography, the note carries an ornate Art Nouveau-style border of scrollwork and foliate motifs at all four corners and along the margins. The issuing authority "COMMUNE DE BLANDAIN / BELGIQUE - HAINAUT" is set at the top, with the legend "BON DE MONNAIE" in large bold type below; the denomination "CINQUANTE FRANCS" appears in white letters on a solid black rectangular panel at centre, flanked left and right by the numeral "50". Below the denomination panel, the guarantee text reads "GARANTI SUR ENCAISSE PLACÉ EN RENTE SUR L'ÉTAT / APPROUVÉ PAR DÉLIBÉRATION DU CONSEIL COMMUNAL", followed by the date "LE 17 JANVIER 1915" and two manuscript signatures for the Secrétaire and the Bourgmestre; the printer's imprint "LITH. & CART. DE TOURNAI SOC. ANO." appears at the foot. |
