| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is laid out in a horizontal format with an elaborate letterpress and intaglio composition. Two large oval vignettes flank the central text panel: the left vignette portrays a classical female allegory seated among maritime and agricultural attributes, while the right vignette presents a similar allegorical female figure beside an architectural backdrop, both framed by fine guilloche ornamental borders. The central panel bears the issuer's name and the denomination CINQUANTE FRANCS in bold letterpress, with spaces for series letter, number, and three manuscript signature lines for two administrators and the director; a detachable left stub carries handwritten issue particulars and the bearer clause. |
