Descrizione del dritto	Bare-headed left-facing bust of Simón Bolívar occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with finely engraved hair detail in the neoclassical style associated with the Paris Mint. The name BOLIVAR appears incuse beneath the truncation. The peripheral legend EL PODER EN LA CONSTITUCION arcs along the upper rim, while the fineness designation .900, the assayer initials G.J., the letter A, and the date 1862 are arranged along the lower legend separated by decorative rosette stops.

The denomination itself was never adopted for circulation. No regular-issue 50 Francos coin ever entered production.
