| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse depicts the hemicycle of the Palais Bourbon, seat of the French National Assembly, its iconic glass ceiling roof rendered in rhodium-plated relief to accentuate its architectural grandeur. Adjacent to the legislative chamber, the Place de la Concorde is represented with its celebrated obelisk and twin fountains, the pinnacle of the obelisk and the fountains enhanced by selective gold gilding on the silver field. The legend RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE appears in the upper field. The design combines architectural portraiture with selective metal application to distinguish key symbolic elements within a unified panoramic composition. |
