Beschrijving keerzijde	The common reverse design, created by Luc Luycx, displays a relief map of Europe occupying the left portion of the field, showing the continental landmass with national borders subtly indicated. Twelve five-pointed stars, symbolising European unity, arc around the left periphery interspersed with fine vertical lines. The large numeral '50' dominates the right half of the field, with the two-line legend EURO / CENT inscribed below in a bold serif typeface. The engraver's initials 'LL' appear discreetly in the lower right field.
