| Obverse description | The obverse features the Madara Horseman (Мадарски конник), the celebrated early medieval rock relief designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a principal national symbol of Bulgaria. The equestrian figure is rendered in profile within the central field. The Cyrillic legend БЪЛГАРИЯ (Bulgaria) appears alongside the mint year 2026 and the denomination inscription СТОТИНКИ (Cents). A arc of twelve EU stars frames part of the design, consistent with standard euro coinage convention. |
