Obverse description The obverse presents a highly detailed, high-relief depiction of the Pont Alexandre III in Paris, rendered with exceptional sculptural precision. The ornate Beaux-Arts bridge spans diagonally across the field, with its elaborate gilded lamp posts, decorative balustrades, and monumental sculpted nymphs at the pylon bases rendered in sharp relief. The lower portion of the field features an intricate guilloché pattern evoking the waters of the Seine, while the word PARIS appears in large stylised lettering at the lower left, accompanied by the legend je t'aime beneath. At the lower right, a circular cartouche bearing the coat of arms of Palau is surrounded by the legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU, with the denomination 50 $ inscribed below.

Reverse description The reverse displays an extraordinarily detailed aerial perspective map of Paris rendered in high relief across the entire field, capturing the city's distinctive Haussmannian urban grid, radiating boulevards, and iconic landmarks including the Eiffel Tower and major monuments. The River Seine winds prominently through the composition, highlighted in vivid cobalt blue enamel colour, creating a striking visual contrast against the polished and frosted silver surfaces. Recognisable Parisian landmarks such as Notre-Dame, the Panthéon, and Sacré-Cœur can be identified within the meticulously engraved cityscape. At the lower centre of the field, the series legend METROPOLIS appears in stylised lettering, followed by the inscriptions Tiffany Art and 2021.
