Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse displays the coat of arms of the Republic of the Marshall Islands at centre, featuring a traditional Marshallese sailing canoe and frigate bird above a chain-link border motif, surrounded by a radiant sun, a blimp, and a fishing net in the upper field. The national motto in Marshallese, JEPILPILIN KE EJUKAAN, is inscribed along the lower portion of the border. The legend REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS arcs along the upper periphery, with the denomination $50 appearing to the left and the date 1989 to the right within the inner border.
