| Description de l’avers | The Hungarian-language face of the original Austro-Hungarian Bank 50 Korona note dated 2 January 1902, overstamped with a circular violet 'ROMANIA / TIMBRU SPECIAL' (Special Stamp) handstamp applied by the Romanian administration during the occupation of Transylvania and the Banat. Two allegorical female figures in classical robes flank the central text panel, one seated to the left resting on a sickle and the other to the right with a scroll, framed by ornate guilloche borders with the denomination numeral '50' repeated in each corner. Three facsimile signatures of Austro-Hungarian Bank officials appear at the lower centre beneath the bold central denomination legend 'ÖTVEN KORONA'. |

Two allegorical female figures in classical dress are positioned symmetrically on either side, matching the obverse composition, all within elaborate guilloche framework with the numeral '50' at each corner. The lower portion carries the denomination rendered in eight languages of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in two rows, without any overprint on this side. |
