Reverse description The reverse, designed by Stuart Devlin, presents a bold and detailed rendition of the Australian Commonwealth Coat of Arms centered in the field. A red kangaroo to the left and an emu to the right flank the shield, which is surmounted by a seven-pointed Commonwealth Star and incorporates the badges of the six Australian states. Stylised wattle branches form a decorative backdrop behind the supporters. The large numeral '50' occupies the lower portion of the field, with the designer's initials 'SD' inscribed discreetly near the base of the design.
