Denomination and issuing authority appear in plain text blocks above and below the central composition, in the utilitarian typographic style common to Spanish Civil War emergency issues. The overall layout is spare and functional, without ornamental borders or guilloche work. |

The reverse continues the same unadorned typographic treatment as the obverse, consistent with the emergency character of the issue. |
