| 正面描述 | At left, the municipal coat of arms of Gelida enclosed in a shield-shaped frame, showing a stag standing on a grassy mound, flanked by vertical green bars evoking the Catalan flag. To the right, the issuer's name in large green letterpress type dominates the upper portion, below which a decorative chainlink guilloche band runs horizontally. The denomination value '50 CTS' appears in a green circular vignette at lower right, with the serial number in blue ink beneath the central text block. |

| 备注 |
One of thousands of locally issued emergency notes produced across Republican-held Catalonia during the Civil War, this Gelida 50 céntimos exists because the central government's collapse in small-denomination coinage supply forced municipalities — some with populations in the hundreds — to print their own fractional currency. The Ajuntament de Gelida, a small Penedès wine-producing town, had no professional printing infrastructure; these notes were almost certainly produced on whatever commercial press was locally available.
Turró's catalog documents over 1,700 distinct Catalan municipal issues from 1936–1937. Gelida's output was minimal, and surviving examples in any condition are scarce simply due to low print runs, not selective preservation.
