正面描述 Printed entirely in dark blue on plain paper stock, the note is enclosed within a decorative rectangular border composed of fine guilloche-style repetitive geometric patterns and foliate scrollwork at the corners. A large numeral '50' occupies the central field, flanked by the issuer legend across the top arc and the promise-to-pay and emission year inscriptions in smaller letterpress text. The lower portion carries three signature lines above three handwritten facsimile signatures, with the respective official titles EL ALCALDE, EL SECRETARIO, and EL DEPOSITARIO printed beneath them.

备注

Archena is a small municipality in Murcia best known for its thermal baths, and like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War it was forced to issue its own emergency fractional currency when the Republic's small-change supply collapsed after 1936. These locally printed pieces — collectively known as "moneda local de emergencia" — were produced with whatever materials and printing equipment the town hall could access, which in most cases meant rudimentary letterpress work on whatever paper stock was available. Quality and consistency varied enormously from one emission to the next.

At 48 × 30 mm, this is among the smallest paper currency produced during the conflict.
