正面描述 Typeset letterpress note on plain cream paper, with the issuer legend 'EL CONSEJO MUNICIPAL' in bold capitals across the top, underlined by a ruled border. The promise-to-pay clause 'Pagará al portador' appears in italic type at mid-left, above the large-format denomination '50 céntimos' in bold display type. A panel of closely spaced vertical lines occupies the right margin as a rudimentary security element, and the place and date 'AGUAVIVA, 20-11-1937' are set in italics at the lower left, followed by a row of dots.

备注

Aguaviva is a small municipality in the Teruel province of Aragon, and like hundreds of similarly sized Spanish towns during the Civil War, its municipal council issued emergency fractional currency in 1937 when Republican-zone coinage had effectively vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or simply absent. These local issues, collectively known as *moneda local de necesidad*, were produced under wartime improvisation and rarely circulated beyond the issuing town's immediate market.

The Gari Montllor catalogue remains the principal reference for Aragonese municipal issues, and the 19-A designation suggests at least one variety exists within the type — likely a paper stock or color distinction.
