The denomination value "50" appears in large numerals in each lower corner, while a large pink-rose underprint numeral "50" occupies the centre field behind the serial number and two manuscript signatures above the series letter and serial number at the foot. |

The entire central field is occupied by a large oval panel in copperplate script setting out the redemption conditions, with the obverse design showing through as a ghost underprint. A circular cachet of the Chambre de Commerce du Tréport is applied in red ink across the text. |
