| Reverse description | The reverse is rendered in warm ochre and golden-brown tones, centred on a large oval vignette in which a rearing horse and a bull flank a sheaf of wheat, laurel branches, and a rooster at lower centre — emblems of the agricultural wealth of the Gers département. The denomination 50 cent. appears in large numerals within an oval cartouche at centre. Four municipal coats of arms — for Lectoure, Lombez, Condom, and Mirande — occupy the corners, with the town name AUCH at the top of the central vignette and the interlaced monogram CG repeated on either side. |
