| Obverse description | The obverse is framed by an ornate letterpress border with decorative corner pieces and lateral panels listing the names of towns within the chamber's jurisdiction. A classical allegorical female figure, winged and draped, is positioned at upper centre holding a large cartouche inscribed with the issuer's name and the deliberation date. The denomination '50 Centimes' appears in large bold type across the centre field, which carries a repeated guilloche underprint of the chamber's name; the municipal arms of Saint-Dié are vignette at the lower centre, flanked by two manuscript signatures above the serial number. |
