| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in brown and red-orange on cream paper, with an elaborate Art Nouveau floral and foliate border enclosing the entire design. A large central oval, filled with a pale guilloche underprint, carries the bold denomination '50 CENTIMES' and the issuer's title 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE NICE ET DES ALPES-MARITIMES' in an arc above. Two heraldic shields appear at left and right within the border — the left bearing the caduceus emblem of commerce, the right an anchor — both rendered in red-orange; the signatures of the President and Treasurer appear below the denomination, with series number and designer credit 'Marius SIMON' at lower corners. |
