| Obverse description | The upper left corner bears the municipal arms of Cette — a crowned escutcheon flanked by anchors — above which the issuer's name appears in letterpress. A deliberation notice dated 11 August 1915, approved by the Ministers of Finance and Commerce, is set in the upper right quadrant. The large denomination legend CINQUANTE CENTIMES is printed in bold red letterpress across the centre, overlaid by a pale blue guilloche monogram, with the series reference and document number at the lower left and right respectively; the entire field is covered by a fine typographic underprint repeating the text CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE CETTE. |
