The denomination «50 CENTIMES» appears in a bold central cartouche, with the value «0,50» repeated in circular vignettes at the lower left and upper right corners; ornate foliate columns incorporating caducei frame the design on both sides. | Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed entirely in dark blue on plain paper, the reverse centres on a large oval cartouche with scrollwork surround, enclosing the guarantee and redemption clause in cursive script. The authorising deliberation date «DÉLIBÉRATION DU 14 JANVIER 1920» is inscribed above the oval in roman type. Denomination numerals «0,50» appear in solid circular and stellate panels at the four corners, with the series designation «6ème SÉRIE» repeated in stellate frames at upper left and lower right; stylised foliate and acanthus ornaments fill the remaining border spaces. |
