The large denomination numeral "0fr.50" dominates the centre, with the date "5 NOVEMBRE 1914" set in a rectangular cartouche at the foot, flanked by the facsimile signatures of the President and Treasurer. |

The interior field carries a large pale guilloche underprint of the denomination numerals "0,50" as a lathe-work underprint, over which two blocks of legal text are set in letterpress, stating the guarantee by deposit at the Banque de France and citing Article 139 of the Penal Code against counterfeiting. |
