| Descrizione del dritto | Printed entirely in red on cream paper, the obverse carries a central vignette of an Algerian agricultural landscape flanked by palm trees, with clusters of grapes, fig branches, and cereal sheaves framing an ornate cartouche bearing the denomination in both French and Arabic script. The title RÉGION ÉCONOMIQUE D'ALGÉRIE runs along the top border, while three facsimile signatures appear below the central vignette, identified by their respective titles: le Vice-Président Délégué, le Trésorier-Adjoint, and le Trésorier. The series and serial number are printed in black at the lower centre, with the designer's name CH. HERVÉ and printer's imprint at the lower margin. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is printed in red on cream paper and centred on two large circular guilloche vignettes each enclosing the numeral 50, flanking the denomination text in French and Arabic script. A repeating letterpress underprint of the text RÉGION ÉCONOMIQUE D'ALGÉRIE fills the entire background field. The four corners carry armorial vignettes of Algerian cities, and the Algerian colonial coat of arms appears at the lower centre, above the inscription CONTRE-VALEUR DÉPOSÉE AU TRÉSOR. |
