Beschrijving voorzijde	At left, a vignette of a veiled woman carrying water jars on her head; at centre and right, a landscape vignette of Bouguernine with mountains, palm trees, and a coastal scene. The denomination "CINQUANTE CENTIMES" is printed in large letterpress across the upper centre, with the Arabic equivalent below, flanked by "50c" corner numerals. Two signature lines appear across the central vignette, captioned "Le Trésorier Général" and "Le Directeur des Finances".

Beschrijving keerzijde	Central vignette of a Tunisian cityscape viewed through a horseshoe arch with alternating red and white voussoirs, rendered in a lithographic style. The heading "DIRECTION DES FINANCES" appears at top and bottom, repeated in Arabic, with denomination numerals "50c" in each corner. At left, French legal text states the decree date of 15 July 1943 (13 Redjeb 1362), a counterfeiting penalty clause, and the note's exchangeability against Banque de l'Algérie banknotes; corresponding Arabic text appears at right.
