Series number and note number appear at left and right respectively, with the decree date (Décret du 30 Septembre 1918) printed in the centre. Two manuscript signatures appear above their respective titles LE TRÉSORIER GÉNÉRAL DE TUNISIE and LE DIRECTEUR GÉNÉRAL DES FINANCES. Lower bilingual (French and Arabic) text states the note is exchangeable against Banque de l'Algérie banknotes and warns against counterfeiting; PROTECTORAT FRANÇAIS appears in the bottom border. |
