| Obverse description | The face of this emergency bon de caisse carries the bold denomination "0 fr. 50" at centre, flanked by two circular coin vignettes: at left, the 50 Centimes coin with the legend LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ, and at right, the Semeuse coin of the République Française. The heading "GOUVERNEMENT GÉNÉRAL DE L'A. O. F. / COLONIE DU SÉNÉGAL" appears at the top, with series and number below the denomination, and two manuscript signature lines for the Trésorier-Payeur and the Lieutenant-Gouverneur at the foot.
