Reverse description The reverse is printed entirely in blue ink on plain white paper and carries only typeset text within a fine decorative border. The denomination '50 cts. FIFTY CENTAVOS cts. 50' is stated at the top and bottom, with the issuer name 'MINDANAO EMERGENCY CURRENCY BOARD / PHILIPPINES' centred beneath the upper legend. The body of the note contains a bilingual redemption and anti-counterfeiting statement in English and Visayan (Cebuano), warning that the note is redeemable at face value and that counterfeiting will be severely punished.
