Three manuscript signatures appear along the lower edge, attributed to the Auditor, Acting Manager of the Philippine National Bank Iloilo branch, and the Provincial Fiscal, with a red serial number printed vertically on the left. |

The Iloilo Currency Committee was one of several provincial emergency currency boards established in the Philippine islands after the Japanese invasion cut off Manila-based supply lines and stranded communities without functional means of exchange. These guerrilla-affiliated issues circulated in Iloilo province on Panay under constant threat of Japanese suppression — possession of such notes was treated by occupation authorities as evidence of resistance activity.
Printed locally under improvised conditions, the paper and ink quality varied considerably across the series, and P#S326 notes are known to show uneven impression from worn type.
