Obverse description The face is printed in black letterpress with a decorative floral and vine border framing the entire note, with the word CENTAVOS running vertically along both left and right margins and the numeral 50 in the lower corners. The central text panel carries the promise-to-pay legend in italic script, with FIFTY CENTAVOS set in larger type flanked by ornamental pointing hands; a red provincial seal is overprinted at centre. Three manuscript signatures appear along the lower edge, attributed to the Auditor, Acting Manager of the Philippine National Bank Iloilo branch, and the Provincial Fiscal, with a red serial number printed vertically on the left.
