Reverse description The reverse is printed entirely in red-brown and relies on dense guilloche scrollwork filling the field, with the large numeral 50 repeated at left and right within ornate rosette frames. The central panel contains the text of Ley N.° 645, Diciembre de 1914, Article 4°, stating that these obligations will be received at their written value in all provincial public offices in payment of taxes and services and by the Banco Oficial in cancellation or amortisation of its credits. The word CENTAVOS appears in bold letters across the top centre, and the overall design is framed by a repeating geometric border with six-pointed star ornaments at the corners.
