A large circular guilloche medallion at left bears the denomination numeral "50", while a matching medallion at right carries the Portuguese coat of arms. At bottom centre, an oval vignette encloses the bank's circular seal with a steamship motif, flanked by two printed signature lines above the date "LISBOA, 5 de Novembro de 1914". |
