| Obverse description | Printed in olive-green and grey tones, the obverse is bisected by a central panel carrying the inscriptions "CINCOENTA CENTAVOS" and "MOEDA CORRENTE" over a fine lathe-work underprint, with the issuing location "LOANDA" above. A large circular guilloche medallion at left bears the denomination numeral "50", while a matching medallion at right carries the Portuguese coat of arms. At bottom centre, an oval vignette encloses the bank's circular seal with a steamship motif, flanked by two printed signature lines above the date "LISBOA, 5 de Novembro de 1914". |
