| Obverse description | Blue and black Letra de Tesorería issued by the Provincia de Mendoza, with the large denomination numeral '50' at centre within an ornate guilloche underprint. To the left, an oval vignette contains the Argentine provincial coat of arms; to the right, an intaglio portrait of a female allegorical figure in a circular frame. Serial numbers in red appear in the upper corners, with 'Serie J' printed at both sides, and two manuscript signatures below — those of the Ministro de Hacienda and the Presidente del Crédito Público. |
