| Descrizione del dritto | Printed in dark green letterpress on plain paper, the obverse is organised around two large numeral '50' cartouches in ornate diamond-shaped guilloche frames positioned at the left and right extremities, connected by an interlaced Celtic-style guilloche border running the full perimeter. The central panel carries the municipal authority text in a typographic arrangement, setting out the issuing body, place of issue, and the bearer redemption pledge, dated Zagreb, 1 September 1942, with a reserved space for the mayor's manuscript signature at lower right. The design is entirely geometric and typographic, with no pictorial vignette. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is printed in two colours, with a dark green interlaced guilloche border frame enclosing a rose-carmine central vignette presenting an aerial panoramic view of Zagreb's main square and the surrounding city centre. The Zagreb municipal coat of arms, rendered as a castle motif, appears centred at the upper edge above the vignette, and the denomination '50 banica' is repeated diagonally in each corner within the border surround. A rectangular letterpress panel at the foot carries the anti-counterfeiting legend in dark green, with the printer's imprint in small text at lower right. |
