| Obverse description | The central device displays the crowned coat of arms of Macau, flanked by two winged angelic supporters. The shield bears the Portuguese royal arms, surmounted by a mural crown. A ribbon scroll beneath the supporters carries the Portuguese motto CIDADE DO NOME DE DEUS DE MACAU NAO HA OUTRA MAIS LEAL. Above the arms, the Latin legend MACAU arcs along the upper rim, accompanied by the Chinese characters 澳門 immediately below. The denomination 伍毫 in Chinese and 50 AVOS in Latin script appears along the lower rim. |
