| 表面の説明 | Central field depicts a highly detailed frontal view of Pha That Luang (the Great Stupa of Vientiane), the national symbol of Laos, rendered in high relief with its characteristic tiered spires, ornamental cloister walls, and grand arched gateway. The background field is polished to a mirror-like black finish, creating strong contrast with the frosted architectural motif. The curved legend BANK OF THE LAO PDR arcs along the upper periphery in bold Latin characters. The fineness mark Ag 925 appears vertically along the left inner field, and the mint mark of the Moscow Mint is visible to the right of the central design. The denomination 50000 Kip and the date 2025, flanked by decorative dots, are inscribed in two lines across the lower field. |

Laos has issued commemorative silver in small, targeted runs since the 1990s, primarily through contracted mints in Europe — most commonly the Bavarian State Mint and facilities in Germany and Poland — with distribution handled almost entirely through the international collector market rather than domestic circulation. The 50,000 Kip denomination is nominal; at any recent exchange rate it represents a fraction of the coin's melt value, let alone its collector premium.
