The city arms — a lion passant on a shield — appear at upper centre beneath the issuer inscription 'Stadt Cronenberg', with the denomination '50 Millionen Mark' set in bold Gothic script over a dark underprint. A large central oval cartouche, enclosed within an ornate letterpress border, carries the redemption and legal text over a faint ghost vignette of a heraldic device, with 'STADT CRONENBERG' running in bold uppercase along the top and bottom of the oval frame. The denomination '50 000 000' is rendered in large numerals at both the top and bottom margins of the note. |
