| Obverse description | Printed in two shades of blue on cream paper, the obverse presents a letterpress vignette of the Cronenberg Rathaus (town hall) at left, accompanied by a central column of tool imagery evoking the municipality's metalworking heritage. The city arms — a lion passant on a shield — appear at upper centre beneath the issuer inscription 'Stadt Cronenberg', with the denomination '50 Millionen Mark' set in bold Gothic script over a dark underprint. The date 'Cronenberg, 1. August 1923' appears at lower centre, accompanied by a circular Bürgermeisteramt Cronenberg official stamp and a manuscript Bürgermeister signature at lower right, with a hand-stamped serial number at lower left. |

A large central oval cartouche, enclosed within an ornate letterpress border, carries the redemption and legal text over a faint ghost vignette of a heraldic device, with 'STADT CRONENBERG' running in bold uppercase along the top and bottom of the oval frame. The denomination '50 000 000' is rendered in large numerals at both the top and bottom margins of the note. |
