Aanvullende informatie

The Yong An Wu Zhu was introduced under Emperor Xiaozhuang in 528–529 as part of a broader effort to stabilize Northern Wei coinage after decades of monetary disorder, including periods when coin use had nearly collapsed in favor of grain and silk as exchange media. The dynasty was already fracturing — Xiaozhuang himself was strangled by the regent Erzhu Rong's successor faction in 530, just a year into this coin's production. Minting continued under subsequent rulers through the dynasty's terminal split into Eastern and Western Wei in 534, giving this type an unusually turbulent administrative history for such a short nominal reign name.
