| Obverse description | Printed in blue-green on a light ground, the obverse carries a portrait vignette of Mao Tse-tung to the right, set within a guilloche-patterned border. The bank title 江淮銀行 appears in Chinese characters at upper centre, with the denomination 伍圓 repeated in large characters at left and right margins. Two red seal impressions and the Chinese republican date 中華民國三十三年 are present in the lower field. |
