| Obverse description | Central oval vignette contains a view of a Beijing pagoda set within an ornate guilloche border in olive-brown and blue-green tones, with large Chinese characters 伍圓 flanking the vignette on both sides. Serial numbers appear in the upper corners, and a red official seal is affixed over the lower portion of the central vignette. Two manuscript signatures appear at the bottom, alongside Chinese inscriptions denoting the issuing branch and denomination. |
