| Opis rewersu | The prancing horse of Brunswick, a bold heraldic stallion leaping to the left with flowing mane and tail, occupies the central field above a ground line with vegetation. The upper portion of the field bears the Latin motto NVNQVAM RETRORSVM and the date 1763 arranged in a semicircular legend. Below the ground line, the denomination 5 THALER· is inscribed, with the mintmaster's initials I·D·B appearing on a second line at the base of the field. |
