| Obverse description | Central field dominated by an elaborate interlaced cypher of the letters A and F in baroque script, surmounted by a princely crown with arched bands and orb finial. The monogram is rendered with foliate scrollwork flourishes typical of the period. The legend around the field reads G·A·G·H·Z·M in separated letters, being an abbreviation of the ruler's titles. The date 1748 is inscribed in the lower exergue below the monogram. The coin exhibits a finely milled border. |

The Kunzel reference places this piece among a handful of documented gold types from Strelitz, a court whose numismatic footprint rarely matched its political ambitions.
