| 背面描述 | The reverse bears the iconic Saint George and the Dragon composition originally designed by Benedetto Pistrucci and used on British sovereigns since 1817. Saint George, depicted as a heroic nude figure save for a billowing cloak and crested helmet, is shown mounted on a rearing horse and plunging a broken lance downward into the writhing dragon beneath the horse's hooves. The dramatic scene is rendered in bold sculptural relief, filling nearly the entire field.
