Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse features a central field divided by a beaded inner circle, with multi-line Arabic legend occupying the interior identifying the issuing authority. Within the beaded circle, the legend reads 'Sultan of Ngazidja Said Ali ibn Said Omar'; outside the beaded circle, a further Arabic inscription reads 'Protectorate of the glorious French Republic.' The design is purely epigraphic, with no portrait or central device, reflecting the Islamic numismatic tradition. The entire composition is enclosed within a toothed outer border.
