A central intaglio vignette occupies the middle of the reverse, portraying a group of blackbuck antelopes in a naturalistic landscape setting with trees and ground cover rendered in fine line engraving. To the left, the denomination is repeated in fifteen regional language scripts within a vertical panel framed by guilloche scrollwork. At bottom centre, the Reserve Bank of India seal appears within an ornate circular cartouche, flanked by 'FIVE RUPEES' in English at lower left and the Hindi equivalent at lower right. |
