Obverse description Violet and grey note with a central vignette of Mohammad Ali Jinnah in three-quarter portrait, wearing a karakul cap, set against a fine guilloche underprint. Bengali and Urdu inscriptions appear to the left and right respectively, with the denomination numeral '5' in ornate cartouches at each corner. A rectangular blue overprint stamp is visible at centre, indicating use during the transitional period of Bangladesh's emergence.
