Obverse description Green and grey note with an intricate guilloche underprint across the entire field. At centre, an ornate cartouche with Urdu script denomination is surrounded by repeated numeral '5' panels and multi-script value tablets in Telugu, Devanagari, and English. The upper left bears the Hyderabad state seal within an oval vignette, while two serial number sets in red appear along the lower portion flanking a bold prefix and numeral sequence.

Reverse description Printed in grey-green tones, the reverse carries six large circular medallions arranged in two rows of three, each enclosing an intaglio vignette of the Charminar mosque in Hyderabad surrounded by a chain-link border with Urdu inscriptions. An arch motif frames the left edge and a heart-shaped ornament occupies the upper right corner, with the overall composition set against a plain unprinted background.
